Come unto me and I will give you rest.

These words Yeshua/Jesus said to the people, when they were coming to him for healing and learning how to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Myself I pray every day and look to see how I can become more in the place of peace and surrender to God. Looking to Him for the answers rather than struggling to understand in my own strength.

On Reading Matthew 13/14/15 and seeing just how whenever the people gathered together around Yeshua/Jesus He healed them all who sought him with a humble and contrite and broken heart and mind. He came to heal the sick and restore us back to our original state with the Father. Learning from Him has been the greatest blessing of my life. Looking to His teachings and discovering the truth of repentance and cleansing of the heart and mind of all my wrong thoughts and painful memories and hurts in my life, self inflicted and otherwise.

When we truly start to seek to find solutions to our mental health issues and heartache He truly is the best place to come.

He gives me hope every day that when we put our trust and reach out to Him he really does care and understands the heartache and misery that most of us have suffered due to our lack of knowledge and understanding.

For me, my journey has been one of great discovery, considering the lack of teaching I had had regarding understanding Gods LOVE and Healing, over the past 40 years of praying and reading the scriptures not as a religion but as a way of understanding how God had wanted us to live as human beings together in harmony with him.

For me it started when I was 21 and the journey was one of profound study to learn from Him the truth of the healing of the mind and body. When I was dying and really ill I cried out in earnest and spoke out my own disbelief in God. I knew and understood there could be the possibility of a supreme being who was in control of everything because there was Earth full of life and blue and so different to the other planets – whether they have life in a different way I do not know. However my own conclusion was there had to be a Supreme being who had created all this wonderfulness around us. I cried and told Him I did not believe in Him but asked Him to heal me, touch my life He did and brought me on a journey of discovery.

Learning to live Gods ways to have a better health and healthy mind and learning why He has given us guidelines to live by was incredible. I started to learn what these guidelines are I discovered that they made a lot of sense to me. If we all lived by them we would not have any wars, there would be no murder, there would be no adultery, no jealousy, no anger. Our relationships with each other would be one of love and peace. This is what I truly believe.

I have come to realise that there is much we have been told to ignore as being old – yet when you really look a the meaning behind them you begin to understand that in fact they are the best way to live.

Then God said all these words:

“I am ADONAI your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the abode of slavery. “You are to have no other gods before me.  You are not to make for yourselves a carved image or any kind of representation of anything in heaven above, on the earth beneath or in the water below the shoreline.  You are not to bow down to them or serve them; for I, ADONAI your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sins of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but displaying grace to the thousandth generation of those who love me and obey my mitzvot- teachings.  “You are not to use lightly the name of ADONAI your God, because ADONAI will not leave unpunished someone who uses his name lightly. (Taking Gods name in vain – using it as an expletive, as we hear so often) (We hear very often Jesus name spoken in a expletive) OMG these are what is considered bad for His point of view

 “Remember the day, Shabbat, (Friday PM- Saturday PM) to set it apart for God. You have six days to labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Shabbat for ADONAI your God. On it, you are not to do any kind of work -not you, your son or your daughter, not your male or female slave, not your livestock, and not the foreigner staying with you inside the gates to your property. For in six days, ADONAI made heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. This is why ADONAI blessed the day, Shabbat, and separated it for himself.

Taking time to come to him with all our problems and resting in His arms, knowing that He takes care of us. He always makes the day really special.

“Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long in the land which ADONAI your God is giving you. (No causing your parents anguish and suffering, by abusive or neglectful behaviour- hurting the with words and deeds that can be hard to take.)

 “Do not murder. (babies, young children, even each other – seriously this is one that happens more and more the further away we get from Love, our hearts which are made of stone today – this is why we need to come to God to Have new Heart and Clean minds and Healed minds.

“Do not commit adultery. how often we read or have been involved in this in our own lives.

“Do not steal. We steal from each others time, energy, and from God by our lack of giving to him the respect He deserves as our creator.

“Do not give false evidence against your neighbor. – wow this is happening more and more today.

“Do not covet your neighbor’s house; do not covet your neighbor’s wife, his male or female slave, his ox, his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”  Jealousy and greed – Fear of not having leaves us feeling deprived. Yet those who covet our lives to take it from us.

 All the people experienced the thunder, the lightning, the sound of the shofar, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled. Standing at a distance,  they said to Moshe, “You, speak with us; and we will listen. But don’t let God speak with us, or we will die.”  Moshe answered the people, “Don’t be afraid, because God has come only to test you and make you fear him, so that you won’t commit sins.” So the people stood at a distance, but Moshe approached the thick darkness where God was.

On reading through these, I know that there have been times in my life when I have broken them, these are here as a guideline for us all to learn to become better human beings. ~To each other and respect and learn to know that in fact the Creator God does Love us and wants the best for us.

Repenting – admitting your lack of trust, unbelief, faith or whatever you want to call it. Coming back to the Father and saying your sorry for your actions to yourself and fellow man is great step forward in finding peace in your heart, mind and soul. As we discover just how important God thinks of us in His plan for Humanity it is so important that we understand how we can really learn to get along with each other.

My mind is clear about learning to Trust God in HIs dealings with us. He has given us ample opportunity since Yeshua/Jesus to come to Him and find the path of Peace and Harmony. Instead we all went the opposite way and were walking on a path that was set to destroy us all.

For me coming to Yeshua/Jesus for my help not just in times of trouble but in my every day dealings with life. I have a great deal of trouble with understanding what is happening today in the world and find it really stressful. I look to Him for the answers and when I focus on His way and His words of comfort – “come to me all of you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest, my yoke is light” – so hence my life is seriously involved with finding solutions with the help of my Father who is in Heaven. I do not hide the fact I am a believer in God the Creator of all the Universe nor do I shy away from my Trust in His words which He spoke at the beginning and I certainly am waiting for the return of the Messiah and the restoration of all things and every government handed over to Yeshua/Jesus and the reign of the Father here on His Earthly Kingdom. He says He is going to do it. Everything He has said has come to pass. I have not got a doubt in my mind that He will Do what He will Do. His ways are much higher than ours. But when we look up to Him, His solutions are Peace and comfort. Our minds can be comforted because He is the greatest Healer of all time. No one who comes to him is turned away. No matter what we have done, He forgives, He Heals and He restores.
