Getting on the road to fitness

I use this for my exercise

I have been using it for the past few years and just recently started to use it more as I have now moved into a new home and setting it up was a joy. I have noticed a difference in both my physical and mental health. Being active in a positive way is so much better than sitting around being bored just watching tv or playing games on the phone. I prefer a more active lifestyle. This I think would be a benefit to everyone.

I bought my fitness package a few years ago and it has been packed up a lot because of travelling and moving. So now I am more settled I am using it.

I know a lot of people have got wii in their cupboards and lofts that may have not seen the light of day for years. However if you get them out, dust them off you will rediscover the fun you can actually have.

I started to use mine seriously about a couple of weeks ago and have noticed a great change in my weight and in the shape of my body as I do the various activities and yoga stretches. My whole physical being feels a lot fitter. As we get older we are told you are just getting old you do not need to do anything or your told your not fit enough but they do not suggest how to put the vigour back in your step or your joy back into your ability to walk and do stretches or enjoy being able to pick things up with out feeling that twinge in your back or the backs of your legs.

Wow since I have been using mine again, I am feeling stronger in my legs and ankles than I have done for a while. I was beginning to think I was heading for the scap heap. Yet now I a feel fitter and faster than I have done for a while.

So those of you who have your wii hidden away it is time to get them out. The time to have some fun and compare notes with your friends and neighbours again. I know that myself and my daughter are really enjoying watching each other get fitter and slimmer and more active again.

Stop being couch potatoes, or feeling that you cant do any of the fitness programmes. I have started and I feel stronger in my back, I had suffered a severe bout of sciatica many years ago, when it happened I was not able to walk or get out of bed unless I rolled out onto my hands and knees, however because I needed to get to work I needed to get myself on my bike to cycle t work and believe me it was painful but within 3 weeks my sciatica was no where to be seen. Now I do not even notice it when my back twinges. I am aware of how quick your back can give you a lot of difficulties and pain. Getting up on my bike was the best thing I did for myself otherwise I could quite easily been stuck. I went on to do an Avon round after that and really enjoyed.

Now living a completely new life in a new place meeting new people. I have decided to encourage others to get back to their fitness state. I know a lot of people are suffering with a wide range of difficulties, but those who can at least take the time to really look at this blog and check out the books I share you may find useful tips.

Changing my diet and breathing exercises has made a big difference in my life. I have gone from 15St. to 14st with using the my wii fitness plus and watching what I am eating and learning what the value of each piece of fruit and veg and meat is offering for my body to get back to a healthy weight and a balanced vitamin and mineral levels, which are also very important for mood and healthy body.
