LOOK AT ME

We all enjoy a new day of sunshine and breezes on the beach, or walking long canals. Even visiting new places. Here is an ideal to place to stay when you are in Pevensey Bay.

Thyme

I have been doing some research for my own hands as I have found them to be very achy recently with all the moving and packing a nd quite inflamed.

I was cooking my stew on Friday and decided to put in a generous amount of thyme into my stew, normally I use other herbs but this time I felt compelled to use Thyme. I was very surprised that on eating my stew I found that my hands and fingers were no longer in pain or swollen. I can only say that from my own experience the Thyme worked for me in a rather great way and unexpected. It was only after ingesting the stew I realised what had happened. The information I was reading on Saturday regarding the benefits of different oils and blends was really an eye opener. Using the herb was so wonderful it has inspired me to grow more frsh herbs in my small garden. If the herbs can have such a positive effect the oils too will be highly beneficial. I shall be buying a range of herb oils this month, I have already got a selection I am doing research on as pain relief for myself and my family.

Blood Types

Researching some alternative ways of keeping my body fit and well and so have been reading my book on blood types discovered that there so much more to it than eating the right kind of foods and taking care of our physical well being.

I am a “O” type blood group and discovered to my surprise that the way I have been feeling so strongly about not taking medication of any description. I have always looked for alternative ways to treat myself as I have a bad reaction to penicillin and antibiotics, on reading the information in this book it made sense to me.

I highly recommend you read this as it will give you insight into your own blood group types, Great range of advice on dietary requirements and helpful tips on what to avoid.

I have been taking notice of this book for a few years but recently went to have a further in depth investigations regarding vaccines and antibiotics. Made very interesting study,

It is a shame more people do not really pay attention to their own body warning signals and research why certain foods cause us to get bloated and windy and even cause us pain. We are not all the same and we should treat ourselves with far more respect than we do, rather than just following the crowd. I never have been very good at that and will always do my own research to help me.

Pampered Pouches and Friends

Recently I have been reading more and more about the benefits of the Essential Oils not only for ourselves but also for animals.

I am a great believer in using the best gifts that God has provided us and when we consider our make up and how He created us it makes sense to take a good hard look at what is available to us. I have been treating my precious pouch with a combination of Peppermint and Lavender with a base of pure extra virgin Olive Oil to help her with a tummy ache and also she can get very stressed. My furr baby is nearly 12 and has had a very interesting life so far.

While living in Spain I discovered a great way to protect me dog from Fleas, Ticks and other nasty parasites that crawl about their flesh. I am introducing it to you here because it is a WellBeing item which does work and has worked for my dog for many years. I highly recommend you take a good look at the product and get back to me. Peppermint essential oil provides a familiar, recognisable scent, but Peppermint is so much more than just a nostalgic, fresh aroma. This oil can be diffused to create a stimulating, focused atmosphere for daily tasks. You can also apply it topically to create a cool, tingling sensation on the skin, which can be very soothing after hard physical activity. We recommend using Peppermint essential oil aromatically or topically anytime you want to add a pleasant variety to your routine!

·  Cools fatigued muscles after physical activity

·  Produces a focused environment when diffused

·  Provides a refreshing experience when mixed with your favourite shampoo or when applied to skin after a warm day in the sun

·  Creates an invigorating and refreshing experience when inhaled

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has a fresh, sweet, floral, herbaceous aroma that is soothing and refreshing. Because it is the most versatile of all essential oils, no home should be without it. It is great for winding down before bedtime, yet has balancing properties that make it just as beneficial for boosting stamina and energy. Lavender is highly regarded for skin and beauty. The French scientist René Gattefossé was the first to discover these properties when he severely burned his hands in a laboratory explosion.

Overcoming Depression

I am at the moment looking at ways to help myself deal with depression. Afterall, we are all struggling to deal with major issues which have not been been self-inflicted, circumstances beyond our own control.

I have been looking into the various combination of oils which can help eleviate stress and my personal favourite combination at the moment is Lavender and Abundance which does seem to have a very calming and relaxing effect on me.

Both these oils are available at my shop 6

I can understand that there are a various degrees of depression and reasons for being depressed. Mine when I started to look back to my childhood as part of my own healing process of prayer and deliverance it was really quite a shock to me to recognise just how much damage is caused because of ignorance and lack of knowledge and understanding on our own personal behaviour can have on other people.

As children we are subjected to the whims and personalities around us. As adults the feelings we had as children are still there and undealt with until we find we can no longer cope with given situations.

I personally have found having relationships a real struggle because of the events of my own childhood experiences. I am not making excuses, just am aware of the challenges it throws up when you start to understand your own emotional barreness and in some cases could be seen as frigid or even down right uncaring.

However, when taking everything into account and searching for an answer I have found that bringing everything out in the open to yourself helps you to face the issues and move on. Prayer to me is the only answer. Having a relaxed environment in order to face the inner demons that keep us trapped makes it much easier to focus on getting things organised in our minds to face the truth of ourself.

I personally do have a history of Reactive Depression brought about by my reacting to circumstances around me which cause me a great deal of stress and anxiety.

I do praise God that through prayer and relaxation and preparedness to face oneself has a great benefit as it allows you to forgive and forget the past and move on. Only once you start the process of facing yourself.
